Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Mitchell narrowly dodges a cross from Gordon Brown, but falls catching him in his guard. Brown knocks the wind out of Russ Mitchell with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. Gordon pushes down Russs leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Gordon Brown tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Russ Mitchell tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. "Bad News Bear" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Gordon Brown parries Russ Mitchells jab and connect with a cross. Mitchell connects with a strong right hook. "Bad News Bear" ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Mitchell and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Russ Mitchell keeps Brown at a distance with some well timed jabs. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Gordon circles Mitchell, landing jabs at will. Russ Mitchells legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. "Dominage" keeps Gordon Brown at a distance with some well timed jabs. Mitchell is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Gordon Brown. A wild right hook from Gordon puts Russ to sleep.
