Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Jessica Leary parries Nala Propas jab and connect with a cross. Nala Propa connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Jessica Leary throws a few jabs at Nala Propa that miss the mark. Nala pressures her opponent into clinching. Nala Propa is jockeying for position in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Jessica Leary attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Nala Propa lands in half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jessica catches a leg kick from Nala Propa, and puts her on the mat. Propa is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Leary. Propa struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Leary is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. Nala Propa holds the head of Jessica Leary close to avoid shots. Jessica Leary slams shots to her opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Propa defends short shots well by turning her head. Jessica attempts to get a leg free and successfully moves into dominant side control. Jessica Leary drops some hammer fists on Nala Propa. Jessica Leary drops some hammer fists on Nala Propa. Round 3 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Nala starts to put on the pressure, forcing Jessica Leary back into the cage. Nala takes advantage and clinches. Jessica takes Propas back standing, but Propa isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Jessica squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Propa connects with a series of punches forcing Jessica into a clinch. Nala Propa takes Learys back standing. Nala Propa lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Jessica is able to work her way back around. A knee to the midsection by Nala Propa is seamlessly followed by a large wheel throw that puts Jessica Leary under Nalas side mount. Propa lands a few stiff elbows from side control. A knee to belly allows Jessica Leary to twist from her back, pulling Propa off balance. Jessica Leary then switches her to guard and stands up. Jessica Leary allows Propa to stand.Round 3 comes to a close.
