Round 1 A single-leg attempt is well defended by Owen. Hughes stands up, lifting the leg of Owen and executing a trip takedown. Owen Nadeau works for a triangle but Hughes throws Owens straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Scott Hughes is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Owen Nadeau lands a good elbow as Hughes lowers his torso. Owen gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Owen Nadeau carefully protects himself from Hughess strikes. Scott lands undefended strikes to the side of "Steal Chasers" head. The ref stops the fight.
