Round 1 A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Fontana, but Alan Lewis is able to muscle through for a takedown. Fontana begins to work the rubber guard. Alan takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Paulo Fontanas guard. It doesn't pay off as Paulo makes his way to standing. Alan Lewis throws a cross that easily dodged by Paulo Fontana. Paulo snaps back the head of "The Bad Boy" with a stiff jab. Paulo Fontana is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Lewis. Lewis now has side control. Alan drops some hammer fists on Paulo Fontana. Paulo Fontana is able to get back to full guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "The Bad Boy" attempts to press in but Paulo Fontana uses a inside reaping to put "The Bad Boy" on the canvas. Paulo Fontana hops to side control. Fontana slides his knee across the body of Lewis and takes full mount. Alan Lewis pulls Fontana close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Alan gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Alan carefully protects himself from Paulos strikes. Alan starts to wiggle out of back control, Fontana lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Alan snaps back the head of Paulo with a stiff jab. Paulo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Alan parries Paulo Fontanas jab and connect with a cross. Fontana fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Lewis. Round 3 comes to a close.
