Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Kurt Cook takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Clarence Stevensons guard. Clarence shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Clarence Stevenson is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but "Elvis" transitions to half guard. Cook hits Clarence with some punches to the side of the head. "Elvis" drops an elbow onto the forehead of Clarence. Clarence Stevenson positions himself back into full guard.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Clarence Stevenson circles Kurt, landing jabs at will. Stevenson fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Elvis". Stevenson works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Clarence works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Stevenson escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Kurt Cook is staggered by a jab to the chin. Clarence snaps back the head of Kurt with a stiff jab. Clarence Stevenson stuffs a shot from "Elvis" and strikes two solid knees to his skull. "Elvis" is stunned and Clarence Stevenson takes mount with in a quick scramble. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Kurt Cook throws a cross that easily dodged by Clarence. "Elvis" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Clarence attempts to clinch, but "Elvis" connects with an uppercut to the jaw. A shot attempt from Clarence Stevenson is sidestepped by Kurt Cook who counters with a hard spear of his own. Kurt Cook throws an outside hook that lands flush allowing him to stand up to tower over Clarence Stevenson. Round 3 comes to a close.
