Round 1
A single-leg attempt is well defended by Cicero. Caleb Griffin stands up, lifting the leg of Cicero and executing a trip takedown. Cicero is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Caleb transitions to half guard. Griffin is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "The Snake" punishes Almeida with a series of strikes from the mount. Almeida gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cicero tries to explode out the backdoor but Caleb Griffin sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Round 2
Griffin circles Cicero Almeida, landing jabs and crosses at will. Cicero takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Caleb Griffin executes a single leg giving him the back of Cicero Almeida. Cicero Almeida tries to explode out the backdoor but Griffin sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Cicero Almeida falls flat to protect himself. Cicero starts to wiggle out of back control, Caleb Griffin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Caleb Griffin parries Cicero Almeidas jab and connect with a cross. Griffin parries Ciceros jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Almeida. Almeida rolls to his back with Griffin standing over him. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Almeida snaps back the head of Caleb with a stiff jab. Caleb connects with a strong right hook. Caleb snaps back the head of Almeida with a stiff jab. Caleb attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Almeida takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
