Round 1 Hawk snaps back the head of Kurt with a stiff jab. Kurt Cook takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Hawk snaps back the head of Kurt with a stiff jab. "Elvis" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Hawk Brooks parries Kurts jab and connect with a cross. A looping right hook from Hawk sends Cook to the mat. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Kurt throws a cross that easily dodged by Hawk. Hawk Brooks connects with a series of punches forcing Cook into a clinch. Kurt lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from "Elvis" is defended well by Hawk Brooks. "Elvis" grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. "Elvis" returns to the clinch. Hawk recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. The fighters circle each other. Hawk Brooks circles Kurt Cook, mixing jabs with body shots. Kurt Cook blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Hawk tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Brooks attempts to clinch, but Kurt connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Brooks fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Kurt Cook. Kurt Cook attempts to grab the plum but Brooks takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Kurt Cook. Hawk takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Kurts guard. It doesn't pay off as Kurt makes his way to standing. Hawk Brooks narrowly dodges a cross from Kurt, but falls catching him in his guard. Hawk shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Kurt tries to pass guard but Hawk Brooks stops him with a well timed punch. While in the guard, Kurt drops a long punch. Hawk throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. Kurt has no choice but to submit.
