Round 1
"The Soviet Superstar" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Lazaro Aniouz. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Markov recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Aniouz is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Markov attempts to drop a fist on Lazaro Aniouz, but misses and lands in his guard. Markov takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "The Lassos" guard. It doesn't pay off as Lazaro Aniouz makes his way to standing. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by "The Lasso", but Markov is able to muscle through for a takedown. Lazaro Aniouz is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Aniouz works for a triangle but Markov Petrov throws "The Lassos" straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Aniouz narrowly dodges a cross from "The Soviet Superstar", but falls catching him in his guard. Petrov passes through Aniouzs guard into mount. "The Lasso" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "The Lasso" is able to make it back to the standing position. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Lazaro, but Petrov is able to muscle through for a takedown. "The Soviet Superstar" drops a few strong punches, opening up Lazaros guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Aniouz gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Petrov peppers "The Lasso" with several shots to the face. "The Soviet Superstar" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Markov Petrov sends "The Lasso" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Aniouz goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Markov Petrov slips out at the last second. Petrov takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Lazaros guard. It doesn't pay off as Lazaro Aniouz makes his way to standing. Markov Petrov circles Lazaro, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Markov Petrov circles Aniouz, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Markov stuffs a shot from Lazaro Aniouz and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. "The Soviet Superstar" attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Lazaro Aniouz for his troubles. Aniouz is wisely defending a kimura. "The Soviet Superstar" attempts to take it but Aniouz is having none of it, though "The Soviet Superstar" has used the chance the slide into mount. Round 3 is over.
