Round 1 Prado is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Araujo. Prados legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Oscar Araujo connects with a strong right hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Araujo works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "Javardo" grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts "Pitbull" on the floor. Oscar lays into Alberto Prados thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Alberto does so. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Alberto is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Oscar sends Prado to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. "Javardo" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Araujo and he is able to sneak his leg through Albertos loose guard, to half guard. Oscar slams his knee into "Pitbulls" ribs. "Javardo" slips out of half guard and into side control. "Pitbull" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "Pitbull" starts to wiggle out of back control, Oscar lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Araujo gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Javardo" connects with a series of punches forcing Prado into a clinch. Araujo is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Oscar Araujo grabs the plum and pulls Alberto Prados face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Oscar Araujo lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "Javardo" dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of "Pitbull". Alberto weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Araujo throws a cross that easily dodged by Prado. A looping right hook from Oscar Araujo sends Prado to the mat. "Javardo" drops a huge strike to Prados chin, landing into his guard. The round comes to an end.
