Round 1 Claude is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Jean. Jean now has side control. Jean Jodoin slides his knee across the body of "By A Bear" and takes full mount. Jodoin throws some outside strikes at "By A Bear". Jean telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Claude gives up his back to stop the attempt. Fontana tries to explode out the backdoor but "The Loin" sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Fontana falls flat to protect himself. Claude Fontana starts to wiggle out of back control, "The Loin" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Jodoin works Claude into a corner, swimming for double underhooks. Jodoin presses his head into Claude Fontanas chest, forcing him to the ground. "By A Bear" works for a triangle but Jean Jodoin throws Claude Fontanas straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Jean Jodoin is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Claude shifts his head and hips to keep Jean off balance and unable to land strikes. Claude gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "The Loin" peppers Fontana with several shots to the face. Jean Jodoin lands one solid shot the chin. Claude goes limp and it's over.
