Round 1 Guy fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Riggs Ward. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "Mental" attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Guy pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Guy Lange parries Riggs Wards jab and connect with a cross. Lange wants none of the stand up and clinches with Ward to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Guy lays into Wards thighs with some well timed kicks while Riggs is grounded. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Riggs Ward circles Lange, landing jabs at will. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Guy attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Riggs Ward pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. The fighters circle each other. Ward connects with a series of punches forcing Lange into a clinch. Riggs Ward drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Ward dodges a few strikes from Lange and lands an overhand and a elbow. "Mental" defends a triangle attempt, throwing Langes straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Guy is able to hold him to half guard. Guy hits an upward elbow on Riggs, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Riggs takes side control. Ward lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Lange takes a few knees to the body while under "Mentals" side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "Mental" sprawls a takedown attempt from Lange. Lange eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Lange narrowly dodges a cross from Ward, but falls catching him in his guard. Riggs dodges a few strikes from Guy Lange and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Guy gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. "Mental" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. "Mental" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Lange hips out allowing him to take "Mentals" back.Round 3 comes to a close.
