Round 1 Clark connects with a series of punches forcing Rene Brito into a clinch. Adrian lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Adrian dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Burrito" standing over him. "Burrito" attempts to drop a fist on Clark, but misses and lands in his guard. Adrian lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Clark dodges some ground strikes from Brito, and sends a few back of his own. Rene Brito tries to pass guard but Adrian stops him with a well timed punch. Adrian shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Brito works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "Burrito" grabs the plum and pulls Adrian Clarks face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. "Burrito" lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Rene takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Adrian circles Rene, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Rene Brito takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Clark is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Brito lays into Clarks thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Adrian does so. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Adrian lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Adrian Clark lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Clark circles Rene Brito, landing jabs at will. Adrian Clark parries a jab but leaves himself open for a uppercut that sends him to the canvas. The bell signals the end of round 3.
