Round 1 A jab from Elijah is blocked and a cross is returned by Martin. Luis Martin parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Martin lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Elijah Cote gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. "the Wife Beater" tries to explode out the backdoor but Luis sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. "the Wife Beater" falls flat to protect himself. Elijah eats a few stiff shots from Luis, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Elijah Cote is staggered by a jab to the chin. Luis Martin shoots in for a double leg, hoists Elijah up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Cote almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "the Wife Beater" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Martin is working a furious pace on Cote, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Luis slides off to the side of Elijah and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Luis switches back to full back control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 After dodging a jab, Cote lands a kick to the ribs of Luis who winces in pain. "the Wife Beater" grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Martin. Cote connects with a strong right hook. Elijah Cote lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Luis. "the Wife Beater" lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Martin. Elijah Cote loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Luis for the mistake. Luis has side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
