Round 2 Markov Petrov narrowly dodges a cross from Gagnon, but falls catching him in his guard. Gagnon drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Skip takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "The Soviet Superstars" guard. It doesn't pay off as Markov makes his way to standing. "The Soviet Superstar" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Petrov is staggered by a jab to the chin. "The Soviet Superstar" attempts to press in but Gagnon uses a inside reaping to put "The Soviet Superstar" on the canvas. Gagnon hops to side control. Round 3 Petrov connects with a strong right hook. Gagnon stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Markov tries to pass guard but Gagnon stops him with a well timed punch. Skip sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Skip Gagnon maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Gagnon secures his position. Round 3 comes to a close.
