Round 1 Relson Lima circles Hughes, mixing jabs with body shots. Ole lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Relson. Hughes connects with a right that puts Lima off balance tumbling to the mat, as Hughes towers over him. Ole Hughes lays into Relson Limas thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Relson does so. After dodging a jab, Ole Hughes lands a kick to the liver of Lima who steps back only to take a knee. Ole Hughes rushes forward to capitalize but Lima falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Lima thrusts his leg into Ole Hughess knee while grounded. Hughes lays into Limas thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Lima does so. Ole circles Lima, landing jabs and crosses at will. Lima executes a single leg giving him the back of Ole. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Ole Hughes snaps back the head of Relson Lima with a stiff jab. Ole sends Lima to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Lima shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Ole Hughes presses the action while in the guard, but Relson Lima is able to switch him into mount. Relson Lima throws some outside strikes at Ole. Hughes gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ole places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Ole escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Ole circles Relson Lima, mixing jabs with body shots. Ole Hughes connects with a sweeping kick at the leg of Relson. Relson Lima ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Ole and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Lima attempts a takedown but slips, and Hughes backs away. Hughes is standing over Lima. Ole Hughes lays into Relson Limas thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Relson Lima does so. Round 3 is finished.
