Round 1 Michaud circles Alejito, landing jabs at will. Tyler lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Alejito. Tyler then switch kicks Alejito on the opposing rib. Salazar parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Tyler Michaud keeps Alejito at a distance with some well timed jabs. Michaud lands a solid kick to the front leg of Alejito. Michaud loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Alejito Salazar for the mistake. Alejito Salazar has side control. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Alejito takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Tyler connects with a series of punches forcing Salazar into a clinch. A strong elbow forces Salazar to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Tyler lays into Alejito Salazars thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Alejito does so. Tyler Michaud circles Alejito Salazar, mixing jabs with body shots. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Tyler lands a powerful knee to the face of Alejito Salazar. Michaud grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Salazar under the eye. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Tyler Michaud grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Alejito. Salazar connects with a hard right hand putting Tyler Michaud on the mat. Salazar goes down with him into side control. Michaud takes a few knees to the body while under Salazars side control. Michaud gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Tyler Michaud tries to explode out the backdoor but Salazar sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Tyler Michaud falls flat to protect himself. Tyler Michaud starts to wiggle out of back control, Alejito Salazar lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 3 is finished.
