A solid kick bruises the leg of Matt. "Robo" lays into Rogerss thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Matt Rogers does so. Matt Rogers eats a stiff kick to the face. A swift ball kick from Buzz opens up Matt Rogers for a spearing double-leg takedown. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Pelletier dodges a jab-cross combo from Matt Rogers and connects with a front snap kick, sending Matt Rogers stumbling backwards. Matt is struck by a ball kick from Buzz Pelletier that opens him up for a push kick to the midsection. Matt throws a cross that easily dodged by "Robo". "Robo" throws a cross that easily dodged by Matt Rogers. A swift ball kick from Buzz Pelletier opens up Rogers for a spearing double-leg takedown. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 After dodging a jab, Buzz Pelletier lands a kick to the ribs of Matt who winces in pain. Pelletier strikes with a straight front kick. The fighters circle each other. Matt Rogers connects with a strong right hook. Buzz Pelletier lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. "Robo" is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. The round comes to an end.
