Round 3 Cleto Rodriquez connects with a series of punches forcing Buzz Pelletier into a clinch. "Maniac" works Buzz into a corner from the clinch. "Maniac" presses his head under Buzzs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Cleto Rodriquez dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Pelletier standing over him. Pelletier attempts to drop a fist on Cleto, but misses and lands in his guard. Rodriquez shifts his hips to get better position in the guard.
