Nagase gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Green is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Koji Nagase gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Koji starts to wiggle out of back control, Green lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Koji Nagase parries Greens jab and connect with a cross. RJ shoots in for a double leg, hoists Koji up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Round 1 is over.

RJ Green shoots in for a double leg, hoists Koji up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Green slides his knee across the body of Koji and takes full mount. RJ maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Nagase gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Green tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 3
The fighters circle each other. RJ Green narrowly dodges a cross from Koji Nagase, but falls catching him in his guard. Koji dodges a few strikes from Green and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Nagase presses the action while in the guard, but RJ is able to switch him into mount. RJ Green secures his position. Koji attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
