Round 1 Masaaki Koga is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Andre falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Andre Pera pulls out of the guard of Koga, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Koga. Andre passes through Kogas guard into mount. "Saku" gets pummeled by the fists of Andre. "Saku" gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Masaaki carefully protects himself from Andres strikes. Masaaki Koga starts to wiggle out of back control, Pera lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Saku" attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Pera. While tied up, Koga is met with a hard uppercut. Pera parries "Sakus" jab and connect with a cross that floors "Saku". Masaaki Koga thrusts his leg into Andres knee while grounded. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 "Saku" lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Koga parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Masaaki Koga circles Pera, landing jabs and crosses at will. Masaaki lands a hook to the body. "Vertigo" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Masaaki circles Andre Pera, landing jabs and crosses at will. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Koga lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Andre Pera. Koga then switch kicks Andre Pera on the opposing rib. After dodging a jab-cross, Masaaki Koga lands a kick to the liver of Andre Pera who steps back and begins to take a knee. Masaaki Koga rushes forward to capitalize but Andre Pera stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Andre throws a kick to the midsection of Koga. A swift ball kick from Pera opens up "Saku" for a spearing double-leg takedown. The round comes to an end.
