Round 1 Jerry McDonald circles "The King", landing jabs at will. Ken Griffin connects with a series of punches forcing Jerry into a clinch. McDonald lands some solid knees to the legs of Ken from the clinch. Jerry McDonald works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Jerry recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. McDonald circles "The King", landing jabs and crosses at will. Ken Griffin circles McDonald, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Ken Griffin throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from McDonald puts Ken Griffin on the mat giving his back up. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Jerry McDonald throws a cross that easily dodged by "The King". Ken Griffin parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. After dodging a jab-cross, Jerry lands a kick to the liver of Ken who steps back and begins to take a knee. Jerry rushes forward to capitalize but Ken stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Jerry McDonald is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ken circles Jerry McDonald, landing jabs at will. Ken Griffin is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Jerry McDonald explodes forward with a push kick that puts Ken Griffin on the canvas.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Ken Griffin fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Jerry. Ken gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Jerry recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Ken Griffin circles Jerry McDonald, landing jabs and crosses at will. Jerry McDonald is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jerry strikes with a straight front kick. "The King" parries McDonalds jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Jerry McDonald. Jerry McDonald rolls to his back with "The King" standing over him. Ken lays into Jerry McDonalds thighs with some well timed kicks while Jerry McDonald is grounded. Round 3 is over.
