Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Souza works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Souza dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Campbell standing over him. "James Mitchell" attempts to drop a fist on "Slick", but misses and lands in his guard. Jacob Souza dodges some ground strikes from Campbell, and sends a few back of his own. "Slick" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "James Mitchell" slips out at the last second. Nathan Campbell tries to pass guard but Souza stops him with a well timed punch. "Slick" attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

"James Mitchell" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. "James Mitchell" throws a cross that easily dodged by "Slick". "Slick" snaps back the head of Nathan Campbell with a stiff jab. The fighters circle each other. Souza connects with a right that puts Campbell off balance tumbling to the mat, as Souza towers over him. Souza lays into Nathan Campbells thighs with some well timed kicks while "James Mitchell" is grounded. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Souza snaps back the head of Nathan Campbell with a stiff jab. "Slick" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Nathan Campbell. Nathan Campbell attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Souza who lands in his guard. "Slick" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "James Mitchells" guard. It doesn't pay off as Campbell makes his way to standing. Jacob narrowly dodges a cross from Nathan Campbell, but falls catching him in his guard. Nathan tries to pass guard but Jacob stops him with a well timed punch. Jacob connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. "Slick" sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. The bell signals the end of round 3.
