Round 1 A single-leg attempt is well defended by Bogdanov. Hawk Hayes stands up, lifting the leg of Bogdanov and executing a trip takedown. A can opener from Hayes opens up "Pauls" guard. Hayes lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Hayes is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Hawk Hayes splits Bogdanovs nose open with a well timed punch. Bogdanov gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Bogdanov carefully protects himself from Hawks strikes. Hawk Hayes peppers Bogdanov with several shots to the face. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Vitale circles Hawk Hayes, mixing jabs with body shots. Hayes shoots a takedown from a distance putting "Paul" on the ground. A strong chopping strike hits Hawk across the face. Hawk lands a series of return strikes. Vitale gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Hayes hits Bogdanov with some punches to the side of the head. Hawk tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Hawk hits "Paul" with some punches to the side of the head. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Hawk Hayes connects with a series of punches forcing Vitale into a clinch. Vitale gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Hawk Hayes attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Vitale Bogdanov pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Bogdanov attempts a takedown but slips, and Hawk backs away. Hawk is standing over Bogdanov. Hawk Hayes drops a huge strike to "Pauls" chin, landing into his guard. Hawk takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Pauls" guard. It doesn't pay off as Bogdanov makes his way to standing. Vitale narrowly dodges a cross from Hawk, but falls catching him in his guard. Bogdanov is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Hayes. Hawk dodges a few strikes from Bogdanov and lands an overhand and a elbow. Round 3 is over.
