While tied up, Babushkin is met with a hard uppercut. Wayne is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Oleg Babushkin drops a huge strike to Stevenss chin, landing into his guard. Oleg takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "The New Dons" guard. It doesn't pay off as Stevens makes his way to standing. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Wayne, but Babushkin is able to muscle through for a takedown. Oleg Babushkin rains down hammer fists. A kimura attempt from "The New Don" is countered by a punch from Oleg Babushkin, who then transitions to half guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Wayne Stevens connects with a series of punches forcing Babushkin into a clinch. Oleg Babushkin lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Wayne attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Babushkin pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Oleg Babushkin parries Stevenss jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Stevens. Stevens rolls to his back with Oleg Babushkin standing over him. Babushkin drops a huge strike to Waynes chin, landing into his guard. Oleg Babushkin takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Wayne Stevenss guard. It doesn't pay off as Wayne Stevens makes his way to standing. Babushkin catches a leg kick from "The New Don", and puts him on the mat. Oleg dodges a few strikes from "The New Don" and lands an elbow followed by a hammerfist. A kimura attempt is defended well by Oleg Babushkin and he is able to sneak his leg through Waynes loose guard, to half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "The New Don" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Oleg. Wayne places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Oleg Babushkin dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Wayne Stevens standing over him. "The New Don" attempts to drop a fist on Oleg Babushkin, but misses and lands in his guard. While caught in Babushkins guard, Wayne gets hit with a vicious elbow. Wayne Stevens tries to pass guard but Oleg Babushkin stops him with a well timed punch. Stevens tries to pass guard but Babushkin stops him with a well timed punch. Oleg Babushkin attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Round 3 is over.
