Round 1
"The Hobo Clown" connects with a right that puts Lasar off balance tumbling to the mat, as "The Hobo Clown" towers over him. "The Hobo Clown" drops a huge strike to Gamboas chin, landing into his guard. Lasar Gamboa is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Thiago. Thiago Assuncao drops a few strong punches, opening up Lasar Gamboas guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Thiago punishes Lasar with a series of strikes from the mount. Gamboa gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Thiago Assuncao lands a series of heavy punches forcing Gamboa to roll to his back, giving Thiago Assuncao mount. "The Hobo Clown" secures his position. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
"The Hobo Clown" is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Lasar Gamboa drops a huge strike to Thiago Assuncaos chin, landing into his guard. Assuncao is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Lasar. Gamboa drops a few strong punches, opening up Assuncaos guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Thiago Assuncao attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "The Hobo Clown" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Lasar Gamboa lands a series of heavy punches forcing Thiago Assuncao to roll to his back, giving Lasar Gamboa mount. Lasar Gamboa throws some outside strikes at "The Hobo Clown". The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
A single-leg attempt is well defended by Gamboa. Thiago stands up, lifting the leg of Gamboa and executing a trip takedown. Lasar attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Assuncao is too quick and takes half guard. Thiago Assuncao slams his knee into Lasar Gamboas ribs. "The Hobo Clown" slips out of half guard and into side control. Thiago drops some hammer fists on Gamboa. Lasar Gamboa takes a few knees to the body while under Thiago Assuncaos side control. Round 3 is over.
