Round 1 Skip snaps back the head of Campos with a stiff jab. "Split" circles Campos, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Skip Smith executes a single leg giving him the back of Lima. Skip lands a series of heavy punches forcing Lima Campos to roll to his back, giving Skip mount. Smith secures his position. Lima gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Lima Campos fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Smith to a corner. Smith swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Lima is working a furious pace inside of the guard of Smith. "Split" attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Lima Campos the chance to pass to side control. Skip takes a few knees to the body while under Lima Camposs side control. Lima slides his knee across the body of Smith and takes full mount. Skip Smith shifts his head and hips to keep Lima Campos off balance and unable to land strikes. Campos maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 A couple of powerful body shots forces Campos back to the corner. Skip swims to double underhooks. Campos cannot stop Skip from stepping back and taking him to the floor. "Split" attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. "Bean" slips out of it at the last moment. Lima Campos backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Lima Campos throws a cross that easily dodged by "Split". Lima Campos lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Skip Smith is hit with a jab but is able to slip a cross and grab a arm-triangle in standing. Skip Smith trips Lima Campos to the floor, landing in side control. Campos takes a few knees to the body while under Skips side control. Skip attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Campos for his troubles.Round 3 comes to a close.
