Round 1 Drew Thomas is staggered by a jab to the chin. Drew narrowly dodges a cross from Emmerich, but falls catching him in his guard. Drew shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Thomas sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Emmerich Arndt shifts his head and hips to keep Drew Thomas off balance and unable to land strikes. Drew swings his leg over locking in a textbook armbar. Arndt taps out.
