Round 1 "Bones" sends Numajiri to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Butch Barnes is working a furious pace inside of the guard of "Naztastic". Numajiri attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Butch Barnes the chance to pass to side control. Numajiri takes a few knees to the body while under Butch Barness side control. "Bones" slides his knee across the body of Mitsuru Numajiri and takes full mount. Mitsuru pulls "Bones" close to avoid a flurry of strikes. "Bones" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Numajiri is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Bones" throws a cross that easily dodged by Numajiri. A jab from Numajiri is blocked and a cross is returned by Butch Barnes. "Bones" executes a single leg giving him the back of "Naztastic". Butch Barnes tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Numajiri tripods up, causing Butch Barnes to fall forward. A scramble ensues and Numajiri is able to take half guard.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Mitsuru executes a single leg giving him the back of Barnes. "Bones" tries to stand up but "Naztastic" plants him back down with several strikes. Barnes starts to wiggle out of back control, Mitsuru lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Mitsuru Numajiri locks around the waist of Butch Barnes. He sneaks his foot behind Butch Barness and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Numajiri slides his knee across the body of Butch and takes full mount. Mitsuru Numajiri secures his position. Butch attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 3 is finished.
