Round 1
Vas Golovin attempts a lazy shot, which Tom Simmons sprawls, eventually taking Vas Golovin back. Vas Golovin tries to stand up but Tom plants him back down with several strikes. Vas starts to wiggle out of back control, Tom Simmons lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Golovin shoots but Tom stuffs it, eventually using a whizzer to work to side control. Tom Simmons slides his knee across the body of Vas Golovin and takes full mount. Vas attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Tom Simmons secures his position. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Tom Simmons attempts a lazy shot, which Vas sprawls, eventually taking Tom Simmons back. Tom Simmons carefully protects himself from Golovins strikes. Simmons starts to wiggle out of back control, Golovin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Tom Simmons loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Golovin for the mistake. Golovin has side control. Golovin slides his knee across the body of Tom Simmons and takes full mount. Simmons attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Tom Simmons attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Vas eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Tom Simmons. A jab from Tom Simmons is blocked and a cross is returned by Vas Golovin. Vas Golovin begins to clinch with Tom Simmons, but Tom Simmons presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. Tom gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Vas Golovin slides off to the side of Simmons and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Vas Golovin switches back to full back control. Simmons slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
