A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Renzo, but Andre is able to muscle through for a takedown. Peixoto rains down hammer fists. Renzo is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. "The King" is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Peixoto. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Andre connects with a series of punches forcing Renzo into a clinch. Peixoto works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Andre dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Braga standing over him. Renzo Braga attempts to drop a fist on Andre, but misses and lands in his guard. Andre Peixoto shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. "The King" tries to pass guard but Peixoto stops him with a well timed punch. Andre Peixoto dodges some ground strikes from Renzo, and sends a few back of his own. Andre Peixoto attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Round 2 comes to a close.
