Round 1 Ogura parries Meirelless jab and connect with a cross. Kohaku narrowly dodges a cross from Caco, but falls catching him in his guard. Meirelles attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Kohaku Ogura slips out of it at the last moment. Meirelles presses the action while in the guard, but Ogura is able to switch him into mount. Kohaku Ogura punishes Meirelles with a series of strikes from the mount. Kohaku Ogura secures his position. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Kohaku stuffs a shot from Caco Meirelles and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Kohaku Ogura and he is able to sneak his leg through Caco Meirelless loose guard, to half guard. Ogura is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Kohaku throws some outside strikes at Meirelles. Meirelles gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Ogura peppers Caco Meirelles with several shots to the face. Caco tries to explode out the backdoor but Kohaku Ogura sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Caco falls flat to protect himself. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Kohaku connects with a series of punches forcing Caco Meirelles into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Caco Meirelles attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Kohaku Ogura pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Caco throws a cross that easily dodged by Ogura. Kohaku circles Caco, landing jabs and crosses at will. Ogura parries "Kurachos" jab and connect with a cross. Kohaku Ogura connects with a right that puts Meirelles off balance tumbling to the mat, as Kohaku Ogura towers over him. Kohaku lays into Meirelless thighs with some well timed kicks while Caco is grounded. Round 3 is over.
