Round 1 Hughes takes Sanders down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Sanders. Brian Hughes drops a huge strike to Sanderss chin, landing into his guard. Sanders begins to work the rubber guard. "The Hitman" passes through Bos guard into mount. Hughes maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Bo Sanders gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Hughes lands a series of heavy punches forcing Bo Sanders to roll to his back, giving Hughes mount. Hughes secures his position. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After dodging a jab-cross, Bo Sanders lands a kick to the liver of Brian Hughes who steps back and begins to take a knee. Bo Sanders rushes forward to capitalize but Brian Hughes stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Bo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Hughes connects with a sweeping kick at the leg of Sanders. Brian circles Sanders, landing jabs and crosses at will. "The Hitman" dodges a jab-cross combo from Sanders and connects with a front snap kick, sending Sanders stumbling backwards. Hughes circles Bo Sanders, landing jabs at will. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. "The Hitman" slips a cross from Sanders and lands an uppercut to the liver. Hughes connects with a strong right hook. After dodging a jab-cross, Brian lands a kick to the liver of Bo Sanders who steps back and begins to take a knee. Brian rushes forward to capitalize but Bo Sanders stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Round 3 comes to a close.
