Round 1 "The lobster" connects with a series of punches forcing "The Golden Beast" into a clinch. Chase throws a solid knee to the jaw of Mark. Chase hops up throwing his leg over Marks arm. He locks a triangle choke, bringing Mark to the mat. Mark slips out of the hold. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Chase Lange stomps the feet of Mark. Chase dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Mark Campbell standing over him. Campbell attempts to drop a fist on "The lobster", but misses and lands in his guard. Lange goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Mark Campbell slips out at the last second. Lange lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Mark Campbell tries to pass guard but Chase stops him with a well timed punch. Lange sinks a deep kimura, but "The Golden Beast" slides out. This gives Lange the chance to switch to half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Campbell snaps back the head of Lange with a stiff jab. Chase loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Mark Campbell for the mistake. Mark Campbell has side control. Chase almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Chase gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Mark is working a furious pace on "The lobster", intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Chase Lange tries to explode out the backdoor but Mark Campbell sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Chase Lange falls flat to protect himself. The bell signals the end of round 3.
