Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Acker receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Roman. "Ackerman" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Vavilov attempts a takedown but slips, and "Ackerman" backs away. "Ackerman" is standing over Vavilov. Jochim drops a huge strike to Roman Vavilovs chin, landing into his guard. "Ackerman" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Roman Vavilovs guard. It doesn't pay off as Roman makes his way to standing. Roman narrowly dodges a cross from Jochim, but falls catching him in his guard. "Ackerman" dodges a few strikes from Vavilov and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. A can opener from "Ackerman" opens up Roman Vavilovs guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Jochim Acker fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Roman. "Ackerman" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Vavilov attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "Ackerman" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Jochim Acker attempts a takedown, but Roman Vavilov clumsily falls down without much provocation. Acker drops a huge strike to Vavilovs chin, landing into his guard. Jochim Acker takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Vavilovs guard. It doesn't pay off as Roman makes his way to standing. Acker stuffs a shot from Roman and hits him with an outside body shot. Roman gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. A strong chopping strike hits Acker across the face. Acker lands a series of return strikes. Roman Vavilov attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Jochim Acker the chance to pass to side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
"Ackerman" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jochim Acker plows through Vavilov with a driving double leg takedown. "Ackerman" tries to pass guard but Roman Vavilov stops him with a well timed punch. Acker eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then swithced, giving Roman full mount. Roman maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Roman Vavilov swings his leg over locking in a textbook armbar. Jochim taps out.
