A kimura attempt from Michail is countered by a punch from Jose Gonzales, who then transitions to half guard. "Mexican Gangster" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "Mexican Gangster" secures his position. Stepanov gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Mexican Gangster" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 2
Jose connects with a strong right hook. The fighters circle each other. Michail Stepanov attempts a lazy shot, which Gonzales sprawls, eventually taking Michail Stepanov back. Jose Gonzales peppers Michail with several shots to the face. Stepanov starts to wiggle out of back control, Jose Gonzales lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Mexican Gangster" connects with a strong right hook. A shot from Jose is countered by a guillotine from Michail. Jose follows through with a slam that stuns Michail. Jose moves to mount. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Jose Gonzales snaps back the head of Michail Stepanov with a stiff jab. Michail Stepanov takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Jose circles Michail, landing jabs at will. Michail Stepanov takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Stepanov is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Mexican Gangster" executes a single leg giving him the back of Stepanov. Round 3 comes to a close.
