Round 1 Green throws a cross that easily dodged by Tosya. Tosya Semyonov narrowly dodges a cross from Green, but falls catching him in his guard. Semyonov attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Raymond slips out at the last moment. Tosya Semyonov backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Raymond Green is staggered by a jab to the chin. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Semyonov. Raymond stands up, lifting the leg of Semyonov and executing a trip takedown. Tosya sets in an omaplata, forcing "Mr Intense" to roll through, giving Tosya side control. Raymond Green takes a few knees to the body while under Semyonovs side control. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Green snaps back the head of Tosya Semyonov with a stiff jab. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Mr Intense" is in the clinch with Tosya Semyonov, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Green takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Semyonovs guard. It doesn't pay off as Tosya Semyonov makes his way to standing. "Mr Intense" narrowly dodges a cross from Tosya Semyonov, but falls catching him in his guard. Tosya drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. "Mr Intense" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Tosya slips out at the last second. Raymond Green gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Tosya connects with a series of punches forcing Raymond Green into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. While tied up Raymond Green executes a shoulder throw giving him dominant side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
