Round 1
Richard circles Abicht, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Richard Renaud parries Abichts jab and connect with a cross. Jan takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Abicht grabs for a clinch but Renaud grazes him with an uppercut. Abicht staggers back, then surprises Renaud with a powerful superman punch. Renaud parries Jans jab and connect with a cross. Jan Abicht narrowly dodges a cross from Richard, but falls catching him in his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
"Cookie Monster" plows through "The Annihilator" with a driving double leg takedown. Jan sinks a deep kimura, but "Cookie Monster" slides out. This gives Jan the chance to switch to half guard. "Cookie Monster" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Richard slips out of half guard and into side control. Renaud lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Abicht gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Jan begins to clinch with "Cookie Monster", but "Cookie Monster" presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. "Cookie Monster" shoots but "The Annihilator" stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. Jan lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Richard gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Jan slides off to the side of Renaud and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Jan switches back to full back control. Renaud tries to stand up but Jan plants him back down with several strikes. Round 3 is over.
