Round 1
"The Spider" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Pereira. Pereira receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Tancredo Antonelli. "The Spider" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Ruy throws a cross that easily dodged by Tancredo. Ruy Pereira eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Tancredo Antonelli. Pereira takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Tancredo Antonelli takes Pereira down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Pereira. Pereira thrusts his leg into "The Spiders" knee while grounded. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
"The Spider" moves in to press the action, but Ruy Pereira lands a heavy back kick. Tancredo Antonelli keeps Ruy at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ruy Pereira escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Ruy. Tancredo stands up, lifting the leg of Ruy and executing a trip takedown. Tancredo Antonelli takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Pereiras guard. It doesn't pay off as Ruy makes his way to standing. Tancredo narrowly dodges a cross from Pereira, but falls catching him in his guard. Antonelli sets in an omaplata, forcing Ruy Pereira to roll through, giving Antonelli side control. Tancredo attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Pereira for his troubles. "The Spider" switches his posture a bit, and sets in an arm triangle choke. Ruy Pereira turns purple then taps out.
