Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "Top of the stairs" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Semyonov is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Lord" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Sanya. Raiden Ashida eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Sanya Semyonov. Semyonov takes down Raiden, but remains standing over him. Semyonov drops a huge strike to "Lords" chin, landing into his guard. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
"Lord" snaps back the head of Sanya Semyonov with a stiff jab. Raiden Ashida fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Sanya Semyonov. Sanya uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Semyonov takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Lords" guard. It doesn't pay off as Raiden makes his way to standing. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by "Lord". Sanya Semyonov is able to pull him into his guard. Semyonov lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "Top of the stairs" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "Lord" slips out at the last second. Ashida passes through Semyonovs guard into mount. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Ashida throws a cross that easily dodged by Semyonov. Raiden Ashida keeps Semyonov at a distance with some well timed jabs. Semyonov keeps "Lord" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Raiden is staggered by a jab to the chin. Sanya is staggered by a jab to the chin. Raiden Ashida attempts a takedown, but Sanya Semyonov clumsily falls down without much provocation. Round 3 is over.
