Round 1
The fighters circle each other. Buster James lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Stevens. After dodging a jab, Brian Stevens lands a kick to the ribs of Buster James who winces in pain. James parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. "Japanese Import" lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. A running flurry from James is countered by a shovel punch to the jaw. Brian then grabs the plum and throws James to the ground, immediately striking Buster Jamess thighs. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
"Number 3" attempts to clinch, but Stevens connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Brian attempts a striking combination, but "Number 3" forces the clinch. "Number 3" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Brian standing over him. Brian Stevens throws a short kick to the downed James. James takes the chance to rise back to his feet. "Japanese Import" dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of James. Buster James connects with a series of punches forcing Brian Stevens into a clinch. Brian works "Number 3" into the cage from the clinch. Brian presses his head under "Number 3s" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Brian lands a powerful knee to the face of Buster. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Brian Stevens weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. James takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Brian Stevens to hit him harder. Stevens lands a hook to the body. Stevens eats a stiff kick to the face. After dodging a jab, Buster lands a kick to the liver of Brian who steps back only to take a knee. Buster rushes forward to capitalize but Brian falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Round 3 is over.
