Round 1 Ioakim Chernov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Ron Jodoin. Jodoin places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "WHAT" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Ioakim Chernov takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. "WHAT" keeps "Still Hungry" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Ron slides in and grabs a leg lock taking Ioakim to the ground. Ron works for a heel hook but cannot finish and both fighters work to standing. Jodoin connects with a right that puts "Still Hungry" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Jodoin towers over him. Ron stands over Chernov, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Chernov is able to grab an arm and pull Ron into his guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Ron keeps "Still Hungry" at a distance with some well timed jabs. "WHAT" lands a double jab. "Still Hungry" throws a cross that easily dodged by Ron Jodoin. Jodoin keeps "Still Hungry" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Ron attempts to clinch, but Chernov connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Jodoin narrowly dodges a cross from "Still Hungry", but falls catching him in his guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Ioakim Chernov is hit with two hard punches to his face. Ioakim Chernov laughs off the punches. Jodoin dodges some straight punches from Chernov and counters with an inner reaping, falling into Ioakims guard as he does so. Chernov attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Ioakim is hit with two hard punches to his face. Ioakim laughs off the punches. Chernov sends Ron to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. "WHAT" locks a triangle but Chernov defends well. "WHAT" decides to let go of the hold. Ron sinks a kimura fromt he bottom but cannot finish. He rolls "Still Hungry" over to gain mount but "Still Hungry" is able to achieve half guard with a great scramble. Ron releases the kimura. "Still Hungry" tries to scramble out of half guard, but Ron Jodoin takes his back during it. Round 3 comes to a close.
