Round 1 Wild takes James Jodoin down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over James Jodoin. Heilyn Wild stands over "Bubbles", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Bubbles" is able to grab an arm and pull Heilyn Wild into his guard. While caught in Jodoins guard, Heilyn Wild gets hit with a vicious elbow. Wild distracts James with peppering shots. Wild then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. James is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Wild maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. "Bubbles" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Heilyn Wild lays into "Bubbles" with some strong shots forcing "Bubbles" to give up mount position. Heilyn Wild maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Bubbles" takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Heilyn Wilds guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by James and he is able to sneak his leg through Wilds loose guard, to half guard. Heilyn gets double underhooks from his back while achieving lock down with his legs. Heilyn lifts his opponents legs with his giving him space to shoot down and grab the opposite leg. James releases the lockdown and swiftly moves to mount. Jodoin secures his position. Heilyn gets pummeled by the fists of James. Heilyn gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Wild tries to stand up but James plants him back down with several strikes. Heilyn Wild starts to wiggle out of back control, "Bubbles" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Wild tries to stop a shot with a punch but "Bubbles" plows through Heilyn Wilds attempt and ends up in guard. "Bubbles" pushes down Wilds leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Wild tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Jodoin slips out of half guard and into side control. James Jodoin lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Heilyn taps out from a hammmerlock.
