Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bennett receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Marc Cuyugan takes Bennetts back standing. "The Canadian Viking" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Marc Cuyugan lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "The Canadian Viking" to release. A welt begins to form under "The Canadian Vikings" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "Dumog". "Dumog" takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks "The Canadian Viking" to hit him harder. A wild hook from Cael is ducked by Cuyugan who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "Dumog" connects with a right that puts Cael Bennett off balance tumbling to the mat, as "Dumog" towers over him. Cuyugan stands over Bennett, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Bennett cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Bennett narrowly dodges a cross from "Dumog", but falls catching him in his guard. Cael Bennett connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Marc takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Caels guard. It doesn't pay off as Cael makes his way to standing. Marc circles Cael, landing jabs and crosses at will. "Dumog" connects with a strong right hook. Cuyugan stuffs a shot from Bennett and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Cuyugan drops some hammer fists on "The Canadian Viking". A series of strong hammerfists forces Bennett to try and roll toward "Dumog". "Dumog" lands a devastating shovel punch that roll Bennett to his back. "Dumog" scrambles to his back. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Marc Cuyugan catches a leg kick from Cael Bennett, and puts him on the mat. Cael lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "Dumog" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Bennetts guard. It doesn't pay off as Bennett makes his way to standing. Cuyugan eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Cael. "Dumog" circles Cael, mixing jabs with body shots. Cael takes a punch and goes to the mat, Marc Cuyugan pounces into side control. Cael recovers quickly. Marc Cuyugan drops some hammer fists on Cael. "Dumog" throws a knee into "The Canadian Vikings" ribs. Cael tries to scramble to escape any more punishment but gives up his back in the process. Round 3 comes to a close.
