Round 1
Velasquez connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Jackson connects with numerous jabs to the face of Fortunato Velasquez. Fortunato Velasquez gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Jackson Fleming attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Fortunato rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Velasquez shifts his head and hips to keep "Northern Agressor" off balance and unable to land strikes. Fleming secures his position. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Velasquez circles Jackson Fleming, mixing jabs with body shots. Jackson Fleming is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jackson Fleming is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Velasquez. Fleming connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Fleming winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Velasquez sprawls a takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson eats several punches on the way back to his feet. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
"Northern Agressor" connects with a series of punches forcing Fortunato Velasquez into a clinch. Fortunato takes Jackson Flemings back standing, but Fleming isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura ending up in side mount. Jackson lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "Northern Agressor" slides his knee across the body of Fortunato and takes full mount. Fortunato Velasquez attempts to buck "Northern Agressor" off from mount but "Northern Agressor" keeps his base and maintains position. Jackson Fleming secures his position. Round 3 is finished.
