Round 1 Gordon keeps Ty at a distance with some well timed jabs. Gordon Butler weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Belanger unleashes a flurry of punches on Butler. Butler connects with a series of punches forcing Belanger into a clinch. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Gordon Butler narrowly dodges a cross from Belanger, but falls catching him in his guard. Belanger tries to pass guard but Gordon stops him with a well timed punch. Belanger passes through Butlers guard into mount. Gordon gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Belanger peppers Gordon with several shots to the face. Butler starts to wiggle out of back control, Belanger lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Butler attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Ty. Gordon Butler recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Belanger connects with a right that puts Gordon Butler off balance tumbling to the mat, as Belanger towers over him. Ty lays into Gordon with some stomps. Gordon can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
