Round 1 Bao tries to hyperextend the knee of "Good N" with a kick to the kneecap. "Good N" hops back to avoid it. Xie throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Bao works "Good N" into the cage from the clinch. Bao presses his head under Faddei Pletnyovs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Xie takes Pletnyovs back standing. Pletnyov begins to isolate an arm but Xie executes a trip which puts him in half guard. Pletnyov holds the head of Bao close to avoid shots. Bao slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Pletnyov holds the head of Bao Xie close to avoid shots. Round 2 "Good N" throws a push kick. Bao shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "Good Ns" nose.
"The Tiger" throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. "The Tiger" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Xie uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown. Bao Xie tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Pletnyov tries to scramble out of half guard, but Xie takes his back during it. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 A jab from Bao Xie is blocked and a cross is returned by Faddei Pletnyov. "The Tiger" connects with a hard jab as "Good N" attempts a wide outside hook. Faddei Pletnyov snaps back the head of Xie with a stiff jab. Faddei connects with a hard punch making Bao Xie bring him in to a tight clinch. Faddei Pletnyov is jockeying for position in the clinch. Faddei Pletnyov works Bao Xie into the cage from the clinch. Faddei Pletnyov presses his head under Bao Xies chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "Good N" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Xie standing over him. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
