Round 1 Collins connects with a series of punches forcing Arnmundur Heimirsson into a clinch. Collins takes Arnmundurs back standing. Collins lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. "Arn" is able to work his way back around. "Arn" attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "Jelly Droolers" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. "Jelly Droolers" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of "Arn". Sam Collins snaps back the head of Arnmundur with a stiff jab. "Arn" throws a cross that easily dodged by Sam Collins. Sam Collins takes down Arnmundur, but remains standing over him. Sam stands over Heimirsson, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Heimirsson cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Sam Collins fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Arnmundur Heimirsson. Collins receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Sam dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Arn" standing over him. Arnmundur stands over Collins, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Collins is able to grab an arm and pull Arnmundur into his guard. Sam Collins pulls Heimirsson close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. Sam Collins fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of "Arn". Arnmundur tries to pass guard but Collins stops him with a well timed punch. "Jelly Droolers" attempts a kimura from the bottom. Arnmundur Heimirsson blocks the attempt and smothers "Jelly Droolers" who transitions to an armbar attempt. Arnmundur Heimirsson is able to defend this as well and works back into guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Sam hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. "Jelly Droolers" shoots a takedown from a distance putting "Arn" on the ground. Sam Collins tries to move to half guard but "Arn" uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Sam defends a triangle attempt, throwing Arnmundur Heimirssons straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Arnmundur Heimirsson is able to hold him to half guard. Collins slams his knee into "Arns" ribs. Heimirsson holds the head of Sam Collins close to avoid shots. Sam Collins slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Sam Collins slips out of half guard and into side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
