Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Sonny breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. The fighters circle each other. After dodging a jab, Sonny Patterson lands a kick to the ribs of Race Ross who winces in pain. Race Ross parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. "Hellboy" connects with a right that puts Ross off balance tumbling to the mat, as "Hellboy" towers over him. Sonny kicks at the thighs of Race. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "The Face" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A looping right hook from "The Face" sends "Hellboy" to the mat. Race drops a huge strike to Pattersons chin, landing into his guard. Race Ross takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Sonny Pattersons guard. It doesn't pay off as Patterson makes his way to standing. Sonny Patterson stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. While caught in the guard, "The Face" opens up a cut on Sonny with a devestating elbow. A strong chopping strike hits Ross across the face. Ross lands a series of return strikes. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Patterson throws a cross that easily dodged by Race. Race circles Sonny Patterson, landing jabs at will. Patterson throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Race Ross puts Patterson on the mat giving his back up. Race Ross lands a series of heavy punches forcing "Hellboy" to roll to his back, giving Race Ross mount. "The Face" punishes Sonny Patterson with a series of strikes from the mount. Patterson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The bell signals the end of round 3.
