Round 3 Griffin sends Pat to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Griffin drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Doug Griffin drops a few strong punches, opening up Clarks guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Pat Clark gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Doug Griffin tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Clark starts to wiggle out of back control, Griffin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Pat receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Doug. While tied up, Clark is met with a hard uppercut. Doug parries Clarks jab and connect with a cross that floors Clark. Doug drops a huge strike to Pats chin, landing into his guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
