NEWS: December 2173 (part 1), Chelo "Brown Pride" Espinoza, has once again officially retired from MMA at the age of 37. Espinoza first retired in April of 2173, just one month after his then assumed, last match. Just 4 months later, in August 2173, Espinoza shocked the world when he returned from what was thought to be a career ending knee injury. Espinoza won the Addiction Heavyweight Championship in his return match against Randy Hall via Submission in the 2nd round.

NEWS: December 2173 (part 2), Espinoza then went on to fight Sergio Tavares in October 2173. Espinoza crushed Tavares, and his 5 fight win streak when he made "The Limb Ripper" tap out in the 1st round, to retain his title. In his final match, November 2173, Espinoza def. Cory Cherry via Submission in the 2nd round, to end Cherry's 5 fight win streak, and Espinoza retained his title again. He retires with a 31-8 record, that includes 15 Heavyweight Championship wins.

NEWS: August 2173, Chelo "Brown Pride" Espinoza, has officially returned to MMA! No one saw it coming, but as a last min replacement, Espinoza stepped up to get an Addiction Heavyweight title shot. In his come back fight, Espinoza won the title via 2nd round submission. Only time will tell what is next for Chelo Espinoza.

NEWS: April 2173, Chelo "Brown Pride" Espinoza, has officially retired from MMA at the age of 36. He retires with a 28-8 record, that includes 12 Heavyweight Championship wins. Espinoza was on a 7 fight win streak, after losing a controversial decision to Gamboa. The two met again one month later, and Espinoza came up short again. At the post fight press conference, Espinoza said "I worked through an injured knee during this training camp, and I knew this was going to be my last fight."
